Miami meets the Mountains | Elaine + Rhys

If you go WAY back, you can find a t-shirt I created with a friend last summer because there was nothing for my little town in the fashion world (read: I dress for comfort over style).

Enter Elaine.

Elaine has been visiting these mountains with her family from Miami, Florida for a very long time and wanted a little piece of her heart to wear just like me. Plot twist: she was getting married and in need of an event planner… the rest is history.

From 3 venue changes through the day plus the aftermath of hurricane rains, the day could not have been more perfect. Their attitude and love towards each other set the course for the night and that grin of hers is just about the cutest thing ever. From cozy blankets by the fire and the best pies you’ve ever put in your mouth to her love of all things green, what a special night to witness!

And let me just tell you… bring a bunch of Cubans from Miami to the mountains on a cool, fall night and you’re sure to have a really fun time.

She assembled a great team of vendors and I was so excited to get to work with some of them for the first time with a few longtime friends in the mix too! It was the best show of teamwork I’ve witnessed to date.
